Carpet Cleaning and Restoration in Almo, ID
Almo, Idaho, is an unincorporated town in the Upper Raft River Valley in Cassia County. It is home to only a few hundred people and is part of the Burley Micropolitan Statistical Area.
Almo sits only two miles from the City of Rocks National Reserve and State Park, also known as the “City of Tall Spires.” It is renowned for its granite rock formations and rock climbing spanning over 14,000 acres. There are over 700 climbing routes as well as ample access to hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding, making it the perfect retreat for hikers, rock climbers, campers, hunters, and adventurers. During the summer, you can stay overnight in an RV or a tent, and in the winter, you can go snowshoeing and skiing.
Almo is also home to the oldest operating store in Idaho, the Tracy General Store. This store was constructed in 1894 and has provided goods to the townspeople for over 100 years. It was also, at one point, a cultural gathering place as the second floor was built as a place to host dances, recitals, and plays.
If you want to relax or treat yourself after exploring the City of Rocks or Tracy General Store, you can visit Durfee Hot Springs. It has a hot tub, swimming pool, and kiddie pool, all filled with flowing hot water that sits at about 104 degrees. There is also a concession stand, dressing rooms, and a gift shop to help you remember your stay.
